Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of of Direct Sellers from a diverse range of companies and personal backgrounds. When most people start their business, they do so to fulfill their dream of creating a better life for themselves and their families. When I first started my business there is no doubt my habits supported my struggle. The result…an empty diary, cancelled parties, low sales and no team. I was literally pulling my hair out and there were times when throwing in the towel sounded like a real option!
After all didn’t someone say this was supposed to be easy? Yeah right!!
Once I stopped blaming the product, the business plan, my husband, lack of time and anything else I could think of for my poor results and looked at myself, I realised my struggle was created by my habits. I remember the relief I felt when I realised it wasn’t ”me” it was just “my habits” many of which I didn’t even consciously create! So step by step I began changing the habits that didn’t support my success and replacing them with ones that took me all the way to the top!
The result…
My diary was booked out 3 months in advance, I achieved personal sales of $100,000 a year, presented in excess of 1000 parties and created a happy and vibrant regional team retailing $1 million. I enjoyed company cars, international holidays and a healthy bank account. (Here’s a picture of me at one of my training sessions being surprised with a car. It was so cool!)
The best news of all is if I can do it…YOU CAN TOO!!
